Distribution Sector Duties:
Power is Transmitted and Distributed by many ways:
- Stable and mobile distribution power stations 33/11 kV by different capacities

- High voltage power transmission lines 33kv.
- High voltage power transmission lines 11kv.
- Distribution transformers by different capacities 4.0kv.
Power Distribution System Elements
- Power Transmission Lines 33kv:
Iron poles in different lengths are constructed, some can bear one circle the other two. Round (chain) or pin insulators 33kv can be used, and multi- size conductors, some cables are used like (3×150 squ.mm / 1×400 squ.mm) 33kv.
- Transforming Stations 33/11kv with different capacities:
start from (2× 5 MVA) to (2×5,31MVA), complete and equipped with circuit barkers and protection devices and sources of continuous current D.C.

- Midd-Power Transfer Lines 11 kV:
some are executed by the use of overhead cable lines 11kv, from the stations to the consumers.
- Distribution Transformers 11/0.4:
some are hanging with overhead cable lines, others are installed inside huts.
- Low Voltage Networks:
they are executed either by overhead cable lines or (hang twisted cable).
- Lighting Networks:
it is executed by using a different size poles (start at 10m to15m) with lights (125w to 400w) by different kinds, some are called Sodium, and some are mercury.
