The Human and Material ability in Baghdad Electricity Training Center
The center has the ability to do part of training courses to serve the sectors of the Ministry of Electricity through an annual training plan to be prepared according to specific procedures at the beginning of each year.
The center consists of nine Departments, four of them support the process of the implementation of the training courses and managing its human resources and maintenance of its different facilities.
These four Departments are:
1. Planning Department.
2. Training Administration Department.
3. Administration affairs Department.
4. Technical Maintenance Department.
The other five departments mentioned below have the responsibility of preparing and implementing the training courses:
1. Technical Courses (electricity) Department.
2. Technical Courses (Mechanical) Department.
3. Administration, Finance and English Language courses Department.
4. Computer and Internet Courses Department.
5. Safety and Health Courses Department.
· The infrastructure of Baghdad Training Center:
2. Administrative Building.
3. Six Class Rooms.
4. Two Computers Laboratory.
5. One workshop for English Language.
6. Two Rooms for VTC.
7. Cinema.
· Human Ability:
1. The total number of employee in Baghdad center is (77) employees plus (10) employees working as temporary.
2. Baghdad center has four employees having M.A and high Diploma degree.
3. The total number of Trainers (Full time Training) are (24) employees.
4. The total number of engineers are (17) employees in different fields.
5. The total number of employees having B.A in different fields except B.A in engineering fields are (17) employees.
6. 15 employees having technical diploma.
7. The other employees has high-school degree and less than.
A staff who have higher degrees from the university and college are hosted to present training courses as needed .

A staff who have higher degrees from the university and college are hosted to present training courses as needed .
Departments of Training & Development Office
Planning and training programs Department
Its consist of four divisions :-
1. Planning of training course outside Iraq:- its responsible for the following up training by making the annual plans of training and development office which include plan of training center of the office as well as the directorate of the Ministry of Electricity for all specialization ( technical , computers , administrative , financial ..ect ) and meeting the training needs of the directorate of the ministry .
2. Planning of the training courses inside Iraq in the cooperation with the universities and specialized training center in Iraq .
3. Planning of the training courses outside Iraq in the cooperation with the international and agencies .
4. Building the training abilities .
Training Department
It consist of two division :-
1. Division of the training course outside Iraq which is responsible for carrying out and following up delegation outside Iraq granted by foreign companies and agencies as well as organization training courses outside Iraq are needed by the MOE .the ministry of electricity bears all the costs of such training courses and is responsible for documentation of the details of these courses in the delegations system to report to the higher authorities such as General Secretariat of the council of ministers .
2. Division of the training course inside Iraq :- carrying out and following up delegation inside Iraq that are held in training center of our office or by the training centers of Iraqi Universities and institution and training center of other ministries. It is responsible of the documentation of the participation of the ministry staff in data base to report to the higher authorities .
Development Department
It is responsible of improving the training and development activities in the Ministry by following the bases and standard of evaluating and correcting various training activities of the public directorate. It is also in charge of developing and following up these training activities to develop performance of the directorate, the developments staff and the trainees in all specialization.
Projects Department
It is responsible for engineering planning supervision and following up .It makes quantities schedules and price them. It constructs new buildings with the required technical specialization. It is in charge of rehabilitation of the current building.
Industrial and Safety Security Department
It is in charge of every activity that is concerned with the safety of the personal in the Ministry. In addition to that, this department is also responsible for the telephone and information division .
Internal Auditing Department
It is in charge of ensuring the applications of regulation and instruction and checking the payment of salaries and other expenditures. It is responsible for the auditing of all the financial affairs.
Legal Department
It is in charge of organizing all the contracts related to the Ministry. It is also responsible for the lawsuits and investigation committees.
IT Department
It is consist of two divisions, data base and software division which design and program and program administrative financial and scientific systems in the ministry. The other division is the Network and Maintenance Division which is responsible for maintaining internet system in our office and for repairing computers and their device.
Administrative Affairs Department
It consists of seven divisions that are responsible for all that is concerned of the human resources, management, documentation and archive, personal files services, transportation and the nursery.
Information Department
It is responsible for covering media activities and the achievements of our office. It makes advertisement media companies and report about the Ministry of electricity.
Financial Affairs Department
It consists of six divisions:-
1. The financial division is concerned about the balance accounts and final accounts, planning budget.
2. Investment plan division which is concerned about investment plan accounts approved by the ministry of planning.
3. Commercial division which is in charge of all the commercial affairs such as tenders and biddings.
4. Fixed assets division which is concerned about records and system of fixed assets.
5. Salary division which is concerned about the salaries of the Ministry personnel.
6. Pay office division which is responsible for pay office and bank records and withdraw and deposit processes.
Research and Information Unit
It aims at searching for information in internet to supply other departments with scientific materials and research.
